Been super busy these past few weeks. There, thats my excuse for not doing a post in a bit. Pretty good one, huh? Just because I haven't done a post, doesn't mean there hasn't been anything going on. First off, last night there was a fantastic show at ROTA; Marco Polio, For The Kid in the Back, Adrian Aardvark, and Klessa (plus a nice and special guest warm up set). Great turnout, the first three are Plattsburgh bands, and Klessa is from "the greater upstate New York region, although, not as upstate as this". They're set was very intimate, yet structured and ear catching throughout. I bought their cd "Aloha Demons" , which is wonderfully packaged, and also a rad zine screen printed by Kate the piano/bells/drums/flute/vocalist. (They all played numerous instruments). Check them out here (copy paste > http://www.myspace.com/plancakes ) There was also a really cool live hip-hop performance by The Lo-Fi Felons this past Saturday at ROTA. In our world, we're working on getting more shows here and in Potsdam... another excuse, it's hard to get us all on the same schedule. i know you better than you know yourself is done, completed.
