The Leaves Are Changing...

...and so are living arrangements. Dan and I (Chase) are moving to the big scary city down yonder. Hopefully playing shows (we might put together a little side project, will post more about that later). Still working on recording. Been a process.

I am coming out with a little solo album soon, just working on finishing up the songs. I will post the cover art and track listing when its ripe and ready. Other than that...its thundering and raining real hard in Albany and my Megabus leaves for NYC at 1:30. Enjoy this picture. Parents of the Year.

Fall Is a Comin'...and then Winter...

And we're trying to not end up like this dog...Still working on recording when we can (we are all pretty broadly spread apart for the time being...but hopefully will have recording done come Christmas time or earlier).




Sunday show at ROTA (in the midst of Hurricane Irene weather) was successful...except for the fact that all of the other bands scheduled to play had to cancel, sort of a bummer. Mike (Layne) Underwood started out the night...last minute, too. A prepossessing little acoustic set, nearly brought me to tears. And he cleared the set with a Beach House cover (and if someone didn't know any better it very well may have sounded like he wrote it, which I feel is especially important in performing a cover). So yeah, show still went off without a hitch regardless of the cancelled bands...More to come in the near future. Don't let the fall chill (if thats really what's already happening) result in any serious benders...
